Gerringong Rotary – Apprentice Encouragement Award

The Rotary Club of Gerringong Sunrise is proud to launch the third year of the Apprentice Encouragement Award, created to support local apprentices as they begin their trade careers.

About the Award

This program provides financial assistance to help apprentices cover essential expenses such as tools, books, equipment and training fees.

The award offers a total of $3,000 over three years, distributed as:

• $1,500 – Year 1

• $500 – Year 2

• $1,000 – Year 3

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Have secured an apprenticeship commencing in 2026

• Live within the 2534 postcode area

• Be undertaking any recognised trade

Assessment Process

All applications will be reviewed by a Rotary committee of qualified members.
One applicant is selected each year.

Applicants must provide:

• Proof of apprenticeship

• Employer availability for the interview stage
