Dementia Inclusive Dancing
Rotary Gerringong, IMB Bank, Kiama Council, and Dementia Friendly Kiama are offering free social dancing sessions for people with dementia. The sessions, led by a fully qualified dance teacher, are open to all and require no prior experience. These events will take place on Fridays from 2 pm to 3:30 pm at Uniting Mayflower Village, 33 Greta Street, Gerringong. Afternoon tea will be provided. Apprenticeship Encouragement Award
This is a rolling monetary award for an apprentice over a three-year period worth $3,000. The first year the apprentice received $1,500 to help with tools or uniforms, with the second year a$500 contribution and the final (third) year a $1000 award to be spent at their discretion.
The program is run every year and we encourage expressions of interest during the application period.

Rock'n'Dance
Our Rock’n’Dance sessions are on every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, from 2-4pm at the Gerringong TownHall. Our Dance Teacher Karen takes us through various routines and teaches us new moves and dances. The dance sessions are suitable for all levels, from beginner to the more experienced dancers. Afternoon tea include in the price of $10 per session.
