This week, the Rotary Club of Gerringong is pleased to welcome Dr. Zara Fulton, Head of Investment at Remarkable, the startup accelerator powered by the Cerebral Palsy Alliance.
At Remarkable, Zara leads investment in innovative technologies that are shaped by lived experience and designed to create meaningful impact for people with complex disabilities. Her work focuses on supporting founders and solutions that improve lives across disability, ageing, and health.
Professional Background
Zaraβs career spans science, strategy, and policy, with experience that bridges research, industry, and innovation leadership. She has advanced vaccine development at Johnson & Johnson and The Scripps Research Institute, advised global pharmaceutical companies at Norstella, led sustainable materials strategy at Genomatica, and contributed to national innovation policy within the Department of Industry, Science and Resources.
Holding a PhD in Structural Biology and a Master of Public Policy, Zara combines scientific rigour with strategic insight β championing technologies that deliver real-world benefits for people and communities.
